:: Tami Moog, CPT, CES

Tami started her career as a Court Reporter in 1981 and worked for the State of Illinois in that capacity until 1995 when carpal tunnel ended that career.

Tami has always been very athletic.  She was a cheerleader and played volleyball in school.  She still continues to enjoy playing volleyball.

Tami didn't start weight training until she was in her 30s, but loved it from the very beginning.  “I was the perfect example of working out hard but not eating clean.  I didn't  see the results I wanted.”

Tami loved weight training so much she decided to get certified as a personal trainer in 2006.  “At that time I was 5'1” and weighed 155 pounds.  I knew I really needed to get serious and look the part before I was to train anyone else.  That's when I met Howie and started training with him.  I lost 30 pounds in 6 months.  I loved how my body had transformed.  That was in 2006, and I have continued to maintain that weight with a lot of hard work.   I was thrilled when Howie asked me to come and work for him.”

Tami has continued her education to become a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and specializing in weight loss.  “I can definitely relate to what my clients are going through.  I've been there.  It takes hard work and proper nutrition to get the results you want.”

Tami enjoys Interval and Circuit Training.  She also enjoys reading anything that relates to health and fitness.   “I have made a commitment to living a healthy lifestyle.  That means working out hard and eating clean.”

Tami lives in North Aurora with her husband, Bryan, and they love to travel.
